To start out it's absolutely no problem if you feel comfortable wearing cycling shorts or longer shorts with a vest top...However once you begin to learn tricks and sits etc, you will need to use your skin to help you grip the pole! At Aprox 6 weeks, is a good time to purchase some pole shorts and a good sports Bra.
